St. Patrick's Day weekend party
at Cowles Commons - March 16-17
It's time to kick off our 2019 events, and St. Patrick's Day weekend seems like a good start. Come on down and enjoy this free to enter event. This year we have a bigger tent, bigger TV's, more food trucks, and more drinks. We will be under a 60X80 heated tent with a 50 foot wall of 4 HD TV's measuring close to 14' each. Des Moines will have the parade on Saturday this year which will make Saturday a great day for downtown. Basketball tournaments will also be taking place to set the bracket for March Madness. Sunday the 17th is St. Patrick's Day and the crowds are always strong on the 17th. We will also have any division tournament championships on as well as Selection Sunday later in the evening for March Madness. Entertainment is currently being worked on for the event as well. This year you will have the choice of 12 Iowa Craft Beers, Domestic and Seltzer drinks as well as many spirit drinks. Stay tuned for a drink and food list.
